As a personal reflection of being content it succeeds. I had a hard time connecting with the video personally though. I loved the music and the color choice was great. However the sideways camera was more jarring than happy.
I am discontent with the orientation. The subject matter is fitting for contentment as is the music. I'm not sure that BW is the best choice for the emotion. It feels kind of drab. A colorful treatment would add a lighter feeling to it. Some of your edit transitions could be smoother, like when you cut to the book. Overall, your concept is good but it could be strengthened through the execution.
I like that it is all in black and white, the music was a good fit.
